Africa's most exotic short hop
Lose yourself in the souks of Marrakech, wander the ancient medina of Fes, sleep under the stars in the Sahara and finish on the breezy Atlantic coast. Morocco is close enough for a long weekend and rich enough for a fortnight, and we plan it all: flights, riads, desert camps, drivers and guides, with one team you can message.
Where to go

Jemaa el-Fna, the souks, palace gardens and riad courtyards — the easy, exciting way in.

The world's great medieval medina, with tanneries, madrasas and craft workshops at every turn.

Camel treks and luxury camps in the golden dunes near Merzouga.
Laid-back Essaouira and the long sunny beaches of Agadir.
Berber villages, mountain walks and cool air, an easy day or two from Marrakech.
Culture and customs
Moroccans are warm and welcoming, and respect for local customs is always appreciated.
Dress modestly. Loose clothing that covers arms, legs and chest is the safe choice, especially in medinas, rural areas and during Ramadan.
Alcohol. Drink only in licensed hotels, bars and restaurants. Drinking in the street is illegal and can lead to arrest.
Ask before you photograph. Always ask before photographing people, especially children. Photographing political or military sites is illegal, and drones need permission from the civil aviation authority.
Keep affection private. Avoid public displays of affection, particularly near religious sites. Same-sex relations are illegal in Morocco.
Respect Ramadan. During Ramadan, avoid eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum in public in daytime, and check opening hours.
Get your entry stamp. Make sure border officials stamp your passport when you arrive — travellers without an entry stamp have had trouble leaving.

Travelling to Morocco — quick answers
Can’t see your question? Send us a message or WhatsApp us.
Do I need a visa for Morocco with a British passport?
Not for a holiday. British passport holders can visit Morocco without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism. Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date you arrive, and you should make sure it is stamped on entry.
How long is the flight from the UK to Morocco?
Nonstop flights to Marrakech take about 3½ to 4 hours. British Airways flies from Heathrow and Gatwick, and easyJet from Gatwick, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and others. Royal Air Maroc flies Heathrow to Casablanca, and easyJet also flies to Agadir.
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are ideal for Marrakech, Fes and the desert. July and August are very hot inland, while the Atlantic coast stays pleasant and breezy for much of the year.
What currency should I take?
The Moroccan dirham (MAD). Cards are accepted in many hotels and larger restaurants, but carry cash for the souks, taxis and smaller places.
Can Travel Style book my whole Morocco trip?
Yes. We're IATA accredited, so we issue flights ourselves and can add riads, desert camps, drivers, guides and transfers in one booking — with one team to message before, during and after your trip.
