Most adult renewals are straightforward, but a photo that fails the rules or a missing detail sends the application back and costs you time. We check everything before it goes in.
We help you choose between the standard service and the faster paid services, and make sure any other passports you hold are included the way HM Passport Office asks.

Who it’s for: British nationals aged 16 or over renewing from the UK
It depends on your circumstances
When you start, we go through these with you.
You send your current passport when you renew. Your new passport has a different number, so update any bookings made with the old one.
New numberIf you cannot be recognised from your existing passport, the renewal needs a countersignatory: someone who has known you for at least 2 years and is not a relative, partner or someone you live with.
CountersignatoryAny valid passport from another country is sent too, either the passport itself or a colour photocopy of every page.
Dual nationalsThe 1 Day Premium service is for adult renewals only, with collection about four hours after your appointment. The 1 Week Fast Track delivers about seven days after your appointment.
Premium or Fast TrackA change of name or personal details follows different rules. We have a separate name change service.
